Vaidyanathan and Liu Receive Best Paper Award

Vaidyanathan, Kiyo and Eiko Tomiyasu Professor of Electrical Engineering, and Chun-Lin Liu, Assistant Professor, National Taiwan University, have been selected to receive the 2021 IEEE SPS Signal Processing Letters Best Paper Award for their paper titled "Remarks on the Spatial Smoothing Step in Coarray MUSIC." Graduate Student Wins Best Paper Prize

Graduate Student Wins Best Paper Prize at Flagship Signal Processing Conference

Electrical Engineering graduate student Chun-Lin Liu, working with Professor Vaidyanathan, has received the best paper prize for his paper entitle, “Super-nested arrays: sparse arrays with less mutual coupling than nested arrays". The prize was presented to him at the flagship signal processing conference, the International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing (ICASSP 2016), attended by over 2000 people.
